Reef Point Cafe - Scarborough

The only thing this Cafe has going for it is the view. No table service.... which is very apparent even after you have ordered at the counter. We asked for some more water for the table...it never came. The food was average - could of been anywhere. The drinks were supposed to be.brought out after we ate. We had finished eating well and truly and 2 separate people from our table had to ask for them.Staff were very inexperienced.

Love this little gem by the bay in Scarborough. Sunday afternoons listening to some jazz and enjoying a byo wine is just divine. The staff are friendly and the food is above average for a cafe,

Hubby and I were in Redcliffe looking for somewhere else for Valentines Day lunch, after the planned venue turned out to be not too appealing. This café looked very appealing and they had a Valentines Day special Menu. The food was good, décor lovely and our experience in this friendly café was the saving grace in our day.

Had a beautiful brekky but a brilliant coffee. Service was very quick and friendly. Avocado stack with garlic mushrooms was great as the the Reef Point Brekky.

My daughter and I called in for lunch yesterday. We sat outside with a lovely breeze and view of the water. We both ordered the lemon pepper calamari. I commented o my daughter that I have never had calamari that soft before. It really required no chewing at all. It just melted in my mouth. Compliments to the chef. It was a really tasty and enjoyable lunch. I have been here for breakfast before and never been disappointed. The staff are amazing also. Fresh orange juice went down well on whar was a very warm day. All in all worthy of 5 stars and more. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
