Bluffers Restaurant & Banquet Facilities

On a beautiful Sunday we headed for this waterside restaurant for lunch. The view of the marina with lots of boats along with ducks and cormorants make it a delightful spot. free parking too if you spend at least $25 at the restaurant and get your parking slip signed. The warm seafood salad was loaded with scallops, mussels, calamari, shrimps and a huge piece of salmon. The seafood quiche was awesome with the best pastry I have eaten. It melted in your mouth! The topping was a large helping of fresh seafood, shrimp and scallops in a creamy sauce. For dessert we shared a chocolate parfait that was big enough for two. With coffee and wine, it was under $80 for a fine meal.

Approaching the restaurant, we were not sure what we were getting in to. Being located at a Marina, the area surrounding it is not quite up to the restaurant once inside. Everything turned out wonderful with excellent food and very good service. The owner was there and fussing over his guests as they arrived and he continued to make sure that everything was just right as the dinner proceeded.

The service was wonderful, we had a mix of ages and every need was taken care of. Window view of the Marina and Lake. Menu suited all tastes. Try it, but for larger group call for reservations.

We just attended a wedding here and were both surprised and delighted by the excellence of service and food at the event. The location is beautiful as it is right below the bluffs and is on the water at the marina. The appetizers were delicious as was the entire meal. My salmon was baked to perfection - nice and flaky with a delicious bread crumb and herb crust topped by almonds. The vegetables were crisp and fresh tasting and the roasted potatoes were the best I've ever had. The steaks were equally as good and cooked to a nice medium. Don't know how they did it for such a large crowd but we enjoyed everything. Yummy tiramisu for dessert. Can't wait to go here for lunch or dinner here again soon.

I attended a birthday party here with 100 guests. They were able to deliver to the crowd. There were enough appitizers to go around for everyone before dinner.The food at the buffet table were hot and fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon, it was quite flaky and not dry. The roast beef served was not tough. The vegetables were not soggy which you would normally find at buffet tables.
