Mother Hubbard's - Scarborough

I ate here last weekend and it was very busy with a waiting queue on the stairs. some people in the waiting queue were upset, but I had nothing to do with it. I'm coeliac, which means I can't have gluten in my food. this means that even the smallest crumbs can make me happy sick mother hubbards can make gluten-free dough cooked in a separate frit so that it does not risk crucible contamination. they even offer gluten-free vinegar, without asking! I ordered gluten-free fish and chips and it was delicious! the gluten-free dough is obviously different from the 'normal' battery, but it is one of the best I have tried in my several years of eating gluten-free food. unfortunately we didn't stay for appetizers or pudding so I can't comment. a thing I will mention for the Coeliac/gluten allergie community is that the koks is on hahn and they could not confirm whether it is safe or not. there I have eaten with the koks and he guessed that it is a cheaper brand to koka cola, so it probably has the best in it. not confirmed. they have filled j20 for security although : I will visit again.

Always consistent, excellent quality, best fish n chips in the country as far as I am concerned. I recommend this place always friends etc. and they are never disappointed! . I live 60 miles away and make the trip just for this good it worth it.
