Although the seafood chowder receives accolades, many dishes, such as the overcooked fish and bland burgers, fall short of expectations. Takeout options and a solid children's menu do appeal to families. While the beer selection is commended and the atmosphere is pleasant, critics note a lack of flair in the food and high prices, suggesting that potential diners weigh the culinary offerings against the inviting ambiance and attentive staff.
On the road again, I will be traveling all fall and winter. Wow, what an awesome place. I'm a big cobb salad fan. I'm going to say best one in years. French Fries perfect.
Overall solid place, would have to eat here a couple more times to round out my view The lobster roll was pretty good, overall better then most lobster rolls I had So pretty solid overall, just a great place to go out when your grandmothers wants to go somewhere to eat, better then chain places like Applebees
Staff friendly, food was good and big portions. Margarita was one of the best I've had! Definitely going back next time I'm in town.
Love their nacho waffle fries. Perfect with an IPA.
I’ve visited their location in Treasure Island and was so excited to see Maine had one while we are here on vacation! I called to ask if they had a patio for our dog, they said yes. We drive 25 min out of our way and when we arrived we were told only service animals were allowed on the patio. You restaurant is literally called Sea Dog, with a dog logo, and you don’t allow them on the patio ? Also, why wasn’t I told that when I called? Thanks for the inconvenience. I opted not to buy a tshirt too.
