What User doesn't like about Koreana:
Do not go to this restaurant. The service is terrible and the waitresses are rushed. I visited with my family on Friday at 7:00 pm. After 15 minutes, we still had not received menus and were asked to move to a different table. Another 30 minutes passed without a waitress coming to our table. Only when I raised my voice did a waitress finally come over. By 8:00 pm, we finally received our food, but my daughter had to... View all feedback.
Let me start off by saying that the staff is so friendly! They were so helpful explaining everything. Now the food- was AMAZING! Everything was so unbelievably tender! I think this place is way better than Benihana and I love Benihana. I would honestly rather eat here. Thank your to the staff for making this such a great experience!
I wasn't sure what Korean BBQ was until my wife showed me. My wife has traveled to Asia on numerous occasions and would always go to Korean BBQ. She researched for the most authentic Korean BBQ and Koreana came up. The food is very tasty and not Spicey hot with the exception of the soup. The soup has some hot peppers in there and they can be a little much for me. The staff, including the owner will wait on you and help you with your food preparation. Korean BBQ is a cook it yourself proposition. You can ordered other items that you will not need to cook yourself. The owner Cheng (I hope I got that right). Is very nice and he will dote on you. The rest of the staff make you feel very welcome. The food is sort of addictive, hard to explain. It's a fun dining experience. The OB Korean lager beer is fantastic. The Soju and other Korean rice wines are good. They do not have hard liquor (frowny face). The experience is very good. Koreana is well worth the trip and you will be a repeat customer. If you're new to Korean BBQ, there is a learning curve, but staff will help you through it.
This is the best Korean restaurant in Chicago suburb.
No customer service. they drag me the teller and I waited for another 15 minutes for my suppe. and they didn't say anything about cooking. we were so excited to visit this restaurant. that's my first time I ever leave a review. I felt necessary as it was an extremely disappointing experience for my friends and me. we will not return.
