In This Corner Bar & Grill - Schomberg

I had a clubhouse sandwich with pommes and it was one of the better clubhouse sandwiches I had. my friend had a western sandwich she said was very good. we're going back!

We haven't eaten at lunch today. very warm and welcoming atmosphere and very clean. I had a cheeseburger and pommes, my companion had the club sandwich and pommes. we both agreed that the pommes were the best we ever had. the homemade burger was generous...and tasty and the club was excellent with fresh and delicious ingredients. our server was pleasant and all requests were processed quickly and efficiently. thanks to the other posters that recommend this jewel.

Yesterday, my two brothers and I visited this restaurant for a quick breakfast. Once again, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent.

After hearing rave reviews from friends, my husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try. We were definitely not disappointed. The menu offered a variety of choices, including daily specials. The waitress was extremely friendly and provided great service. Our orders were taken promptly and the food was served quickly and piping hot. The portions were generous so make sure to arrive with a big appetite. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

How is this place ranked #1? We showed up at 2:30pm on a Friday with a group of 10-12 people. I originally said we needed room for 10 but we had a couple more show. We were told that 10 was the max we could...have as they didn’t have enough food for 10 people. Not enough food? 2:30 on a Friday? We were told quite rudely that 10 was their absolute despite us saying that we all wouldn’t be eating. Needless to say we left and went to another local pub that had no problem accommodating our small group. Brutal service from a small cozy establishment.
