What User likes about Hungry Moose Restaurant:
Stopped in during a rainy period on the motorcycle, to dry out. Discovered excellent food, reasonable prices, and most important, good people~! The family running the place was incredibly helpful with our questions of the area, local politics, and US issues. We stopped and had breakfast and found it hard to leave once the rain started. We go in for local color, but this was a bit much. The restaurant is literally the basement of a cheap motel, and the food is mostly fried from frozen. Sometimes, what you see is what you get - and this is one of those times. The fare is mostly burgers and poutine. Meh. Oh, and make sure you pay in CAD. The owner will try to cheat you with crazy arithmetic if you use USD. View all feedback.
