Situated on Highway 77 in LeGrange, the Oakridge Smokehouse restaurant has been one of our favorites for the past two decades. We typically enjoy their sausages or buy items from their shop to take home. Absolutely terrible! I have had some really good experinces there, but this last visit, will be my last. Everything in the order was incorrect. It must have been an off night for them as they usually get it right. I hope they can get it figured out. No ill will, but no more of my business for them. I have been dining at this restaurant regularly for the past 15 years, traveling between Houston and San Antonio and stopping in on many different occasions. The wait staff has remained consistently friendly over the years. I have never opted to order off the menu, as I highly recommend the buffet for those who enjoy home-style cooking. The buffet typically offers a variety of dishes such as chicken noodle soup, fried chicken, ribs, sausage, roast beef, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables, and goulashes. The menu may vary daily, but the food is cooked in a Czech/German style that I personally love. Occasionally, I have strayed from the buffet to steal a few bites of my kids' chicken strips and french fries. I suggest giving it a try.

1st time here and didn’t disappoint. Buffet to go and we loaded up. Salad, soup, ribs, pork steaks, corn, potatoes, dessert was all excellent. Young man host was very kind and friendly.
