Reviewing on just the drinks and vibes. Wasn?t there to order food. J&M is open and lively with a rich history. The bartender that afternoon made a lovely manhattan! They also offer many choices of beer and their wine is on tap which was actually prettydecent! Lots of TVs for your viewing pleasure. Service was attentive but not aggressive, friendly and polite. The J M is an institution in a city lacking everyman institutions it is worth a visit if only to soak up some of the spirits that haunt the walls you can feel a century of both good and questionable characters within these confines. The shield outside boasted the oldest bar in Seattle for a beer and a fast bite in front of a baseball game. Very well appreciated food and drinks, probably the most meaty wings I've ever seen, and half a decent selection of beer. It was old and dated, but I really appreciate hammering the oldest bar in Seattle feeling. Would definitely go back.
