The food is really good. I went with my brother and we are from Texas. The food tastes very authentic, like something from our childhood. The mole sauce was incredible and the tamale was fluffy and the meat was well spiced. The decor of the restaurant might feel over the top, but it is very similar to places I've been in San Antonio.
