STOUT Pub - Seattle

Server was nice, but refused to bring us water. We asked twice. Told us we had to go the bar for that. We were dining. Not just doing drinks and apps. The manager was the only one who didn 't mind getting us water. It just didn 't make sense to me. I could have gotten my own water from the bar. But why? How hard is that. I am in the service industry btw.....so I understand what busy looks like.

Wonderful quaint environment, quick service without rushing us, excellent chicken waffle (jalapeño chips in the waffle PERFECT spicy kick)

Stout is great for football games. The brunch menu is small but pretty tasty. Our server was fantastic.

The experience was pretty bad overall. After seating ourselves, it took forever for a waitress to come by. Once she did, we were ready to place our food and drink orders. My husband went to the bar to get our waters because she never brought them. When she did bring his coke, she didn 't apologize for the delay or even acknowledge that he had to get our waters. Our food (ribs/chick and waffle) was mediocre at best. When she asked how we were enjoying the food, I gave an unenthusiastic meh , to which she replied, Great, let me know if you need anything. We won 't be going back,

I could have got my own water from the bar. but why? How hard is that? I'm in the service sector btw....as I understand how busy looks.
