Fantastic meal! I’m celiac and deeply appreciate the many gluten free items on the menu. Lettuce cups are always a favorite, but we tried the mushroom appetizer and found it equally delicious. Warm, meaty, with a perfect blend of flavors that came to life in the dipping sauce. Sea bass with peanut was perfectly done, crisp light crust over tender fish, and again, the perfect blend of flavors. Perhaps my favorite sea... View all feedback.
What Joe doesn't like about Wild Ginger Seattle:
I used to love this place. Hostess acted beleaguered at greetinf us on arrival. Overworked? Food we ordered was missing sauces. Clean plates to eat from seemed to be an afterthought. Alcoholic drink order was not to our taste; the time it took to get a replacement was the entire time to eat our dinner. Fried egg rolls were labeled as “spring rolls”. Great tasting food and convenient location for a pre-performance dinner when going to see a Seattle Symphony concert at Benaroya Hall.
"The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is amazing. It's in the perfect location to grab a meal before heading to the symphony."
Really good food is always enhanced by great service. The spring roll app was fabulous; can also recommend the pot stickers. The mango salad was unique and quite tasty. Butter chicken and Mongolian noodles I would def order again. Lean into the apps, mains and sides though, dessert options were lack luster. While the food and my fellow dinner companions were excellent, the star of the evening was our server. I loved every minute of him. Thorough menu knowledge, attention to detail, problem solving skills w/o making the customer feel bad, genuine interactions tailored to his audience. Would 100% eat here again for the green beans and will request to be seated in his section. Fabulous experience thanks to Patrick but you can call him Eddie.
The restaurant was average. It didn't leave a lasting impression, but it also wasn't terrible.
Service and Atmosphere were fantastic. Food was mall quality at best… Have a drink, but dine some place else. Kitchen staff clearly doesn’t specialize in the food the restaurant is claiming they do. When your dish comes out within 9 minutes of ordering …. You know you are in for a special treat.
