Fantastic meal! I’m celiac and deeply appreciate the many gluten free items on the menu. Lettuce cups are always a favorite, but we tried the mushroom appetizer and found it equally delicious. Warm, meaty, with a perfect blend of flavors that came to life in the dipping sauce. What Joe doesn't like about Wild Ginger Seattle:
I used to love this place. Hostess acted beleaguered at greetinf us on arrival. Overworked? Food we ordered was missing sauces. Clean plates to eat from seemed to be an afterthought. Alcoholic drink order was not to our taste; the time it took to get a replacement was the entire time to eat our dinner. Fried egg rolls were labeled as “spring rolls”. Very good eating and service very courteous staff, helped with the selection of food
The 6 person booth provided plenty of room for 6 men. The “family style” delivery encourages interaction and conversation. The food selection accommodated varied tastes and preferences. The food quality was good.
We ordered 3 different menu items to share and all were fabulous.
The food was definitely not up to their prior standard. Served cold
Wild Ginger is a downtown Seattle staple restaurant. It is not living up to its reputation post Covid. I’m hopeful that Wild Ginger will re-boot its quality control for food and service ASAP.
