We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant of the Blue Ocean. It's a nice venue right on the course friendly service, very interesting pub food, and a nice choice of local beers on tap. The ribs looked especially delicious, but the Asian rice...and noodle bowl, deluxe grilled cheese, Matane shrimp club, and clam chowder all got rave reviews as well. Even if you don't golf, it's worth a visit for sure. View all feedback.
What Trevor Doyle doesn't like about Blue Ocean Golf Club:
A beautiful venue with a west coast feel right on a golf course. The menu has changed though. Not much selection with only 3 dinner entrees. For the price, one would expect perfection, which it was not. Although tasty, the presentation was so-so and I...would not call broccoli, seasonal vegetables. C'mon chef, give us some more selections. View all feedback.
My husband and I dined here on a Friday evening for the Bratwurst-Beef-Dinner-Special while on vacation. It was delicious and the server was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I would highly recommend eating here. The regular menu also looked very appetizing.
Have a peaceful dinner outdoors with a view of the nearly deserted courtyard. The menu offers a variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices.
We have been dining at Blue Ocean Grill regularly lately. I didn't mention it in my past reviews, but since we live nearby, we wanted to try something different from our usual spots. We have been consistently impressed with the food after several visits. They have delicious flatbreads, with my favorite being the pear and gorgonzola. Their burgers are excellent and the pastas are good too. The service provided by Melissa and Helen is top-notch. I recommend trying it out soon, in case the quality of the food drops again.
We gave up on the grill. I talked to the manager that after the catastrophic lunch with friends I would make a follow-up assessment. we ordered the clubhouse sandwich. it was disgusting eiskalter speck. we sent them back and they heated the speck (sortiment) and returned the same sandwiches. we both took them apart and ate the meat and the sweet in sandwich. the brot was naturally zapped, so it was hard like a board. I'm sorry we give up. it is not worth the worsening. as a candid as its proximity to home
We used to go to the Golf club fairly often and then the chef left and its been Inconsistent since. I convinced my husband to try it again recently. We both ordered off the fresh sheet and I had a great lunch of roasted garlic...and baked Brie. It was so goo we came back teo weeks later and my husband had the Lamb ravioli which was amazing, I had the roasted Garlic and baked Brie again and it was not as good. We convinced friends that the place was serving pretty good food again and so we had lunch yesterday. I ordered the same dish Roasted Garlic and Baked Brie.. The Brie was not baked so back it went then there was almost no garlic and the lovely little bits of pea shoots and arugula was replaced with a massive bland salad. The bread was really ovrcooked and hard to eat. My Husbands Tortellini was overcooked.. SO in short its still hit and miss. If we were not with friends I would have spoken to the manager and had my meal taken off the bill. I guess its back to the usual hang outs Too bad its a nice change from the Lighthouse
