Zen House Japanese Vegetarian

The meat is very good! gives me a place to go if I desire Japanese!

On the menu are not unambiguous indications of eggs/dairy-containing skin. I am so disappointed that they did not do that for such an expensive restaurant. I always had to ask the waitress what is in every dish and I don't dare to answer her whether vegan or not. come back when you get your menu.

Sunway doesn't have that many good vegetarian options so having a new place to eat with lots of choices is great news. The fact that it is Japanese food, even better! Zen House makes veggie versions of fish-based sushi so that's impressive. It definitely looks the part. However, a lot of these do taste similar to each other so I don't know how much the variety sets are worth it. Things like the miso soup, side salads, dumplings etc. are made pretty well. The sets are good value as a whole.

Absolutely loved eating. the personal was very helpful when we said we were vegan and they have changed the regular mayonnaise on vegan mayo for us. would like to come back and try more dishes.

The restaurant offers a great selection of vegetarian dishes, with the majority being vegan. The food is authentic and freshly made. Orders are brought out promptly, without much wait time. Customers simply need to fill out a food form and hand it to the waiter, who will then bring out the food for them.
