What Shania Barton doesn't like about Terre Et Mer:
My wife and I ate here at Easter, we were both looking forward to the experience and it is an experience. The menu is on a blackboard and Tony will explain it in French and English. The amuse bouche was large and the other courses were too. The 1st courses were served on slates, which is now old fashioned. We both had the same main couse of the 'Montgofier', named after the ballonists it is seafood under a puff pastr... View all feedback.
Our visit to this restaurant was sublime. The dishes and combination of ingredients were prepared with great balans and all flavors combined together tasted more then delicious. Chef Tony was very kind and explained his dishes with passion. Our two enfants also enjoyed the dishes a lot. They were able to choose from different dishes and loved it. Very good wine selection! Also the other staff was very kind, service minded and professional. We really had a super great lunch and can recommend everyone this restaurant with a refined taste.
Amazing food, amazing service, can only highly recommend if you’re visiting Sete! (The oysters and the « plat du pêcheur » were just fabulous!
This restaurant is small but they offer the best food and service. Even though some of my friends could not speak French well, however, the staff put his effort to explain us the dishes. All dishes were good especially Montgolfière de la mer. Also, the service was very good and friendly. I had a good experience here!
My friend and I wanted to have a gastronomic restaurant, typical from Sète with a nice ambiance. We have been served with Terre et Mer! Super small and cosy (like 12 seats so better make a reservation), open kitchen (my friend and I are huge fans of open kitchen which insure cleanliness and fresh products) and a super nice staff. They were giving a lot of food recommendation and propose the best matching wine possible for our meals. The good thing is you can also buy some good wine bottles and bring them home if you find them good as well as other products typical from the area. The food was amazing, we had the cooked oysters, the seafood soup, the clams risoto all was extremely tasty and big. The service is super friendly. The location was also good because after the diner we did a little walk to the Saint Louis lighthouse. We will definetely go back if we return to Sète and recommend you to swing by if you are in the area
Couldn't get in for dinner no reservation) but the chef remembered me when I dropped in the next day for lunch plenty of room at lunch). This isn't a low-cost place, but you get more than you pay for. I'd go back.
