The food was fantastic! For dinner we had the prime rib, potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. One of our kids ordered from the menu (cheese filled tortellini in a garlic cream sauce) and the other chose to have the buffet. You get to choose from an appetizer, main and dessert! For breakfast there is a wonderful buffet with an omelet station. The bread and pastries were amazing! View all feedback.
What Nat Reynolds doesn't like about Bayview-Wildwood Restaurant:
The staff at this restaurant need better training. The young employees were not at fault for their lack of experience. There is a lot of potential here, but there seems to be a lack of motivation to do better. The food was just okay, with the standout being Taylor. He should be considered for a manager position, as Sherrie, the current manager, seemed to be overly controlling. View all feedback.

We have had our route take us to this wonderful resort and restaurant which will accomodate our crowd of 120+ participants! Food has always been excellent, good variety, great desserts, friendly staff! What more could one ask for in a lovely lakeside setting??
Located on Sparrow Lake and part of an old fashioned lake side resort resortElegant atmosphere, good menu and a great viewExcellent value during Flavors of Lake country eventBest to call ahead for reservations especially during the busy summer month
We stayed one night in the resort before moving to the cottages affiliated with it. I liked the idea of staying at a cottage with the restaurant near by. The view is great, like the picture shows, but the room is dark, the ceiling tiles worn with age and water stains in places, the carpet dark (maybe newer but certainly not a new style), service was good, bartender came to ask if there was anything we would like from the bar. There were not any options for young teens as a result much of the food was uneaten by our 2 teens. (and meals were $18-25 a plate). The food was ok, from other reviews I expected much more. The veggies were a little soggy. I asked at the front desk the charge for breakfast, the staff didn't know and they didn't have an menu, we have some allergies int he family so I wanted to be sure we could eat there and also that it wasn't over priced. but we didn't get an answer so we ate granola bars and fruit we had with us, and had an early lunch at the Marnia on site. I think the people that had meal plans built into their room rates would have felt there was better value.
Our group of ten (family and friends, combined), agreed service by our server was terrible. Our family had to ask another server to take our order (our server neglected to take our order after taking all others'. We later heard he was new there). Still later, we asked for a soup spoon and our server left to get it.. He then went on to wander aimlessly around. I got one myself... No good....
