Large restaurant at the port with indoor and outdoor kitchen. The menu includes fresh seafood and salads as well as interesting appetizers, soups, ducks and deserts. What User dislikes about Salt:
The food is very average, typical bar style food. The sushi was surprisingly good. Come for the drinks and the vibe. Also the bar boat in the back is the true highlight. Its super cute and fun! View all feedback.
I love salt!!!! I go to shelter island every summer with my family and I never know where to go out to eat.
Loved our meal at SALT! We came in with the dog and had an amazing spot outside on the deck, on a sunny day, it was just perfect!!! The staff was very nice
Sat at the bar and Robert was taking care of us. He made amazing drinks for us. You MUST try one of his specials. The food was served quickly and was cooked perfectly. I will be back!
The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!
Our fourth time dining at Scarlet Steak and Seafood, very nice fine dining with a very good selection.
