What Siân Skinner dislikes about Seasons 2 Aa Rosette At The Eastbury:
We were served by a lovely young lady. Extremely helpful attentive. Unfortunately, they had no lemons to accompany the Earl Grey tea. Hard to believe a hotel kitchen would run out of lemons! The sandwiches were quite nice, but the bread was beginning to dry on a few of them. A sufficient amount of food, but not quite the standard I had expected. However, we still managed to enjoy our friend's birthday celebration. Se... View all feedback.
This restaurant has a charming old English style that is well maintained and reserved. The rooms are immaculately kept, clean, and stocked with various amenities. The service and location are both rated highly, with the hotel being described as romantic and peaceful.

A really lovely little place to stay with a mini spa attached. The decor was a bit dated in parts like the dining area but the rooms were very well maintained and clean. Service was exceptional and friendly. A great place to use as a base whilst exploring the local areas. We drove to Frome which was especially nice and full of independent shops. Warning: everything seems closed on a Sunday! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
The staff gave us such a warm welcome, and this warmth lasted the length of our stay. Our room was beautifully furnished, and the bed so comfortable. The breakfasts catered for all tastes, and again the staff were efficient and friendly, without being obtrusive. The guests lounges were cosy, and board and card games, and a pool table were provided. Nearby activities: We lunched at The Green, wonderful food and wine. The Plume of Feathers, opposite the Abbey, served an appetising selection of Italian plates, and has an interesting cupboard of games. The independent shops sold a variety of interesting and unusual goods, perfect presents for giving or receiving. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury
Great stay at the Eastbury over the bank holiday weekend. Very friendly and thoughtful staff who were great from the moment I called to book, to when we checked out. We stayed in the Potting Sheds as we had our dog with us. He was made to feel very welcome by the staff who were quick to provide an extra bed and bowls for him. Breakfast was generous with both hot and continental options. We also had a lovely spa treatment with the wonderful Kate. Sherbourne itself is also lovely and would recommend The Green and The Clock Spire for dining options. Would definitely visit again.
