Hot Wings Cafe - Sherman Oaks

I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 20 years and it has always been great for me and my friends. The service is always good and we have never experienced any issues while dining here. The wings are always delicious, as well as the curly fries and onion rings. Whenever I'm in the mood for wings, this is the place to go.

When my friend asked me for a hot wings recommendation, I was excited to suggest HWC. They are my go-to for delicious wings, and I usually opt for either the mild or hot sauce for more flavor than heat. They can crank up the heat if you ask, as the different spice levels are listed on the menu. The curly fries are the standard side dish, though they also offer onion rings. The staff is attentive, providing refills and checking on customers regularly. The restaurant and restrooms are clean, and there is ample metered parking available. I recommend feeding the meter, as parking enforcement is active in this neighborhood.

Good wing and service. my wife always orders the lemon peeler wings. they are always prepared extra crispy as they like it. this is our goal for wings.

I called 45 minutes before they closed and this girl answers the phone very rude and told me were closing soon you cant order for pick up! How terrible are these people running this business!

I usually order from here with no issues and I really liked their wings. Until this last time I ordered. Placed a DoorDash order when I received it and opened my order I found a long dark hair inside the top of the box (by the ranch). Upon further inspection I found another dark long hair on the wing which was at the bottom in the sauce. I immediately got grossed out. I called the store and the manager insisted on telling me he packaged the order and didn 't notice it . Like as if I was lying. I was never rude and told him just because he didn 't notice it doesn 't mean it wasn 't there. Why would I call on DoorDash order and lie about something like that. Luckily I was able to get a refund through door dash. But I certainly won 't order from here again! Maybe if the manager was more understanding instead of trying to justify it . They should definitely make all the employees dealing with food at least tie up their hair. Cuz wtf!
