What Cosmo M dislikes about Midori Sushi:
Checked their website on a sunday , it said 12-2:30 Got there at 12:45, they were closed. The guy was super rude and unapologetic for their site not being correct. Yelp said closef. View all feedback.
Do not believe the complainers this is the very best AYCE ever. EVER. I love sushi, I'm very picky and I have eaten sushi at all the nice restaurants and I love it here, AYCE will never be premium sushi anywhere, but It's fun when you want to splurge but not break the bank. I don't mind them including tip, it's a way to protect their servers and many restaurants do it these days. Very sweet staff too. My favorites are Sexy Lady Roll Encino Roll Kamikaze Roll Volcano Roll Crispy rice nugget #4 roll Baked Salmon sushi and sashimi All of the tuna's and the halibut Other Miso Gyoza
The official website has incorrect hours. We've tried 4 times to give them our business and the first and second times we figured were our bad for not reading the website carefully, but the third and fourth were due to their inaccurate website. Please look for most recent pictures and reviews so you don't waste your time. To whomever manages the website, please check it for accuracy. (The rating is based on the frustration, not actual service or food. It shouldn't be this hard to give you my money).

The sushi here is really good about 90% of the time, maybe I just came on a bad day but the all you can eat is reasonably priced and there is always a line! I usually come right when they open for lunch but this time I had come for dinner and the service for my rolls was a little slow. No biggie I'll still be back! Ambiance is nice and relaxed they have some tvs on with sports and I go in sweat pants to be comfy and have lots of room for sushi!
Midori, Midori, Midori. That's one Midori for each location that I've known and loved including Encino, Studio City and Sherman Oaks. I'm not sure if the Studio City location is still around but that's neither here nor there, we're here to talk about Midori in Sherman Oaks. This was the first Midori I tried and it has never let me down since. When you show up you may not be super impressed with the location next to a 7-11 in a small parking lot, but it's worth it. The staff is always super friendly and surprisingly they still offer all you can eat. I thought all you can eat was a thing of the past since Covid but not at Midori. It's a relatively small but cozy restaurant with a sushi bar and probably 8 tables in the dining area. We of course ordered all you can eat even though we didn't order much, but the sushi was fantastic! I can't wait to go back when I have a bigger appetite.
