What Joseph Sheppard dislikes about The Bull Run:
Went early on a Saturday for granddaughter's birthday. It was quite busy. Drinks arrived promptly, as did appetizers after about two sips of cocktail. Then dinner came, after we'd had about two spoonfuls of soup. Fried fish was dry, with too much remarkably tasteless breading, piled on top of fries, which were, of course, soggy because of the fish on top. Tiny serving of cole slaw. Onion soup tasted of brown sugar. T... View all feedback.
Sadly, the only time I have been here was for the Thanksgiving buffet with my mom and sons.
Bar review only: This place is strictly a rocks drinks and beer place. It has a very cool bar that looks 18th century.
We went to the BR last night with a party of 5 I'm only reviewing for the Turkey Dinner and Prime Rib.
After more than 8 years of stay in the opposite we visited this long-term facility. I wish we hadn't waited so long. the food was good; we had the drawn vernacos, the pan meerrote salmon speciality, and the sausage and ricotta pizza. so many more menu options sound appealing it was difficult to choose. the drinks were great; the new old fashion was a great turn on a favorite classic, and the watermelon jalapeno margarita almost melted the face of my wife. but the actual attraction is the history of the place; it has a truly authentic atmosphere of a revolutionary epoche taverne. will be back and would recommend!
One of the simplest, friendly, relaxing and satisfying culinary experiences everywhere! the place is so rustic (since 1740 there) and cozy low ceilings, large-area floors and large decorations. now they add a delicious meal of calf salt and limoncello tiramisu (yes, the greatest combination, always and they go happy. I also enjoyed their turn on the classic who they call it the new old fashioned. very potent, but tasty! they played it with a great piano musician and I know that they also play a led zeppelin cover band in the back. this is a place where they will not get bored and disappear with a full, happy bub! I wish I could come back, but I was just over, so by the next time, I'm gonna come back in any case.
