A pub vibe but much more than that. Service was great, food was delicious and very reasonable in pricing. Also great that it is on site of hotel which makes it an easy walk and very convenient. View all feedback.
What Rickie Tillman doesn't like about Catch at Port Stephens Country Club:
One of our Locals, fantastic location over looking Shoal Bay beach, great service. Has always been good. New owners not sure if the reason or if that it is holiday season, but the last 2 times we have been menu items have changed. Not the names just the quality. Dusted Spicy Salt and Pepper Squid used to be served on a lovely salad with a very tasty Mango Dressing, now dressing in side dish with squid (not so spicy)... View all feedback.

We shared a seafood pizza and it was absolutely delicious and quite unique. Loved the community atmosphere in this bar/ bistro.
Just stopped in last weekend for dinner and drinks. It was about 830pm and not too busy! After ordering our food we only had to wait about 5-10 minutes before our dinner was served . It is pub style food and reasonable priced for the area. We ordered the Kilpatrick oysters which were amazing- ( my first time trying oysters as well). All food was enjoyed and service was great. We enjoyed a few more drinks and enjoyed the DJ playing that night! This is the first time eating here and we will be back.
Table service Table Service, we sat and waited then informed by others you need to find a menu then walk up there and order and pay, oh and when its ready you will have to go and collect it too. Seriously when your on holidays and you go out for dinner there is the basic requirement of table service. They did try to over charge me a small amount which I picked up straight away and had it refunded. I believe there would be better alternatives.
We are local, so the Searock is a nice place for us to stroll down to and people watch in the summer. The food is usually very good, although we have had the odd bad one over the years - to be expected with change of chefs etc.Great for families with kids and a wide enough range of food to choose from.
