Delicious menu! Red Beans and Rice with Andoui sausage; burger on croissant bun, crab and corn bisque; and cheesecake with Bananas Foster sauce. The fries with the burger were crispy outside and tender inside. We ordered ranch dressing for dip and it tasted fresh. Tue croissant was substantial with delicious, crispy layers. What Heaven Sam doesn't like about Copeland's of New Orleans:
I?ve ate here 2 times the fries suck. I don?t know if it?s just me but they taste horrible. Other than that the food was good. It was cooked in the same batter so it all started tasting the same. Appetizer came out with food. Apple cobbler was good! View all feedback.
Awesome service and excellent food. Our server Crystal K was a five star. Being from the Midwest and not understanding Louisiana dishes Crystal described each dish on the menu for us ,Her attention to detail in explaining the menu was excellent,and her service was impeccable. Great food, great server. We were so impressed with her service and the food that we a party of five returned the next day for another great experience. Al's creole cheesecake is a must have dessert.
My sister and I visited Copeland's in Shreveport last Thursday and we had the best waiter. Ask for William Ship. He's excellent! We met the manager too, Mr. Mast, who was so very kind to us. They have remodeled the inside and it's gorgeous...very airy now and easier to get to the restrooms...lol. Here's what we ordered: Shrimp Salad, Red Beans Rice with Sausage, and a Seafood Platter, Strawberry Cheesecake! If you are needing some place to eat this week...I'll suggest Copeland's of New Orleans in Shreveport, Louisiana on Bert Kouns. I give it a 5 Star Rating!
On our monthly group eat- out, my wife selected Copeland's-- somewhere near and usually good.
I'm only giving THIS location a bad review but the boardwalk location will receive all my praise as they followed through with tremendous service. However,
The spinach dip with the fried bow tie pasta chips were fantastic! The recipe is online. Had the Jambalaya pasta bowl, interesting.
