"Foreword: I have come to calabria for some time and have never really appreciated local flaire. to tonight! my friends brought me to u ricriju, I took reluctantly and now I am very glad that I did it. francesco, our host, has opened us. kindly welcomed to speak in tight calabrese dialect (urdu or tamil would sound the same, ehhh) accompanied us to our table and just food materialized before our eyes. I'm through! I am a pescaterian and I was worried that there were not enough options, wrong and we had only the appetizers. I urge that the people come to siderno and visit francesco and its restaurant."

"I visited this restaurant today on the recommendation of my hotel. The food was excellent and I chose a very good bottle of wine intending to return this evening. However I was placed opposite a door from which a large group of children continued to go out and come in throughout the meal banging the door every time and the parents and the owner saying nothing. Finally after 2.5 hours I had enough. I had a headache and my lunchtime ruined by the owner and the parents of the children did not care. In addition the credit card machine did not work so I had to pay in cash, a current occurrence since cash is preferred. I live in Italy so am accustomed to eating in restaurants that are full of families that are vivacious and noisy but the lack of consideration here was unusual and unacceptable."
