Went to the Shire for breakfast. Had eggs Benedict.They were ok but not exceptional. My daughter liked them and my wife enjoyed her eggs easy over. The portions are generous the ambiance is average. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about The Shire Restaurant and Brew Pub:
I had an omelet and I had only had about 3 bites and I found a big piece of white glass in the omelet, the waitress came and asked if I would like anything else and I said a bowl of soup. She gave me a side soup and then she charged me for my meal of the omelet. It was 25% off that day so she said she gave me 30% off instead and that added up to an extra dollar off. I was not happy. Well, I was a little disappointed when I realized that the menu has changed quite a lot from that someone had written here before. but we had the chicken burger with baked potato and it was pretty good! the baked kartoffel could have been hotter than just being warm, but I ate all my meal and felt good after that. the personal was very nice. I want to go back to breakfast one day. the washroom was nice and clean.
My family loves to come to the shire for weeks of breakfast! we come nice and early and there is no waiting time in the rule. the eier benedikt is amazing. personal always friendly and attentive!
Customer service was wonderful. Space was clean and layout allowed for more intimate and larger gatherings. Best of all, food was delicious, timely and affordable.
My husband and I just moved to Simcoe and this is the first local place we decided to order out from. We were not disappointed! Their fries are the best I’ve ever had and the veggies in my wrap were so fresh. My husband loved his burger and would definitely recommend. Will be going to visit the restaurant soon!
