"This is an outstanding hotel, an excellent restaurant and some extraordinary service staff for the most part. Unfortunately the overall experience is tainted by the spotty performance and attitude of the beach staff. This is particularly disappointing in a destination beach resort. I would recommend it anyway because there is a great place to conveniently get your own food and drinks next door. The Nu Love bar. So after reading the response below it makes some sense. We weren’t in that group. We were ignored while they were fawned over, along with other non-guest chair renters. We went next door to serve ourselves out of necessity and this was not the experience we were expecting. We couldn’t even get the staff’s attention by hollaring and waving our arms. I won’t go back."

"I wanted to love this place but the food was mediocre and the service was atrocious. Les Temps appears run by thoughtless frat boys who need to work on their customer service and decision making skills—they know nothing about hospitality. Please save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere —I enjoyed nearby Bistrot Caraibes (amazing food) or Ocean 82 instead (great food, beach views, jets landing). I arrived a bit late for my 6pm New Year’s Eve reservation, but was relieved to find that Le Temps was empty—there were only 2 other tables seated. The host ushered me to a high top in the bar. Surrounded by a sea of empty tables, many of them 2tops, I quickly asked if I could be moved to a neighboring table and was told no, that the restaurant was fully booked. When I pressed, the manager seemed annoyed but offered me an interior 2top but with a strict time limit —in this COMPLETELY EMPTY restaurant!! I didn’t want to be rushed, and it’s still Covid, so I chose to stay at the high top in the bar for ventihilation... had to suffer the staff’s repugnant cigarette smoking while there. Ew! At 8pm I requested my check and noted that the neighboring table I originally requested was STILL EMPTY, as were at least FOUR other 2tops—the restaurant was still only half full, and they had POINTLESSLY made me eat in the bar on NYE, though I HAD A RESERVATION. My recompense: a cheap glass of house Prosecco— the manager didn’t even bother to send over a glass of my chosen drink of the night—the sheer thoughtlessnes speaks volumes. The only saving grace of this place was the waitress Cece —she made me feel very welcome, forget about the rest of the staff— including the bartenders who seemed nice but instead stood behind the bar, openly critiquing/discussing dining guests ON NYE (yes, I witnessed this, and they saw me witness it, so they topped off my drink for me... but it was still RUDE AF). As I said, thoughtless frat boys with no manners. Take your money elsewhere."

"So good! it is a small small place on the side of the road, but it has bright colors so easy to recognize. the owner is super beautiful, he had a few snack options from fried plantains or bananenbrot, and the meal options was a suppe or a bowl (big or small,) I got the bowl that mullet, pinto be drilling, beats and cashew cheese had. the menu changes daily and will be published every morning on facebook. the place has been there for 21 years! 10/10 would definitely recommend! a year later, still very good! for $18 I have a large part of the food, bananenbrot, and I am not sure what it is called. but a whole crawling crust, kind as an empanada, filled with cashew cheese. so good! updated by previous review on 2022-01-24"

"Beautiful atmosphere, great servers and delicious food. Best ceviche on Island!!! Also, try the eggplant rolls. Had to go back on our last night for my fix. Will def go back and spread the word of this wonderful restaurant."

"Large gluten-free dinner in grand case. chef is extremely knowledgeable and safe and did and general experience was exceptional. lobster thermador was specific and can be prepared gf, and my zöliakie diagnosed daughter loved her meal. top notch."

"I ate here twice while on vacation during my 2019 Christmas trip. Both times the staff was super knowledgeable, and very understanding. The fried spring rolls are not safe even though they are listed as GF. Menu is extensive. I had the yellow curry, fresh spring rolls and the fried rice; all delicious!! Highly recommend!"
