Monserrate - Sintra

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and decided to have dinner in the hotel on day 2. The food was superb. We had crispy shrimp to start followed by filet mignon. Both were beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A buffet style breakfast was served in the same dining room which had beautiful views across the valley. Not expensive compared to the many tourist restaurants in Sintra.

Quite a good selection of food. Hot soup, sausage rolls and comfy seats Friendly service and clean looks.

Overlooking the valley, the restaurant offers excellent portuguese cuisine. The chef brings originality to the classic dishes. The professionalism of the staff surpasses expectations.

We had walked for half a day and we wanted a snack and drink and this is a hospital reliable hotel with an easy lounge, lobby, bar and restaurant. We felt at home even tho we weren't going to have a full meal

All very good dishes from the couvert (different butters) passing by starter (vegetable soap) and finishing in the main course (black linguine). Strongly recommend the black linguine.
