We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant on a hot day! I treated my son to the birthday cake for his special day, and I tried the passion fruit Italian ice. What J Kim doesn't like about Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream:
As a first-time customer, I ordered a single scoop of butter pecan ice cream in a waffle cone for $7.85, which I felt was too expensive for the portion size. The scoop was extremely small, so much so that I needed a magnifying glass to see it. The texture of the ice cream was lacking and it tasted similar to the kind you would find at a grocery store. The chocolates here a divine one. I thought the coffee was thought about, but he kept himself. they have offered a variety of choices that I also love, really I love everything here, everything!
We love the Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream parlor. They always have non-dairy options and let you try flavors until you find the one you like. Also, they make the best custom ice cream birthday cakes.
This place is wonderful! Great unique flavors. You can ask for a sample before committing to a flavor.
The Mackinac Island Fudge is my favorite. I will gladly drive from Indiana anytime just to get some. (Thank you, Patsy)
