I can’t remember the last time I received service as bad as this. Nelsons in HH was too busy so I thought I’d try the Shelly. It was empty when I arrived and I began to realise why. There was a young lady at the till who failed to acknowledge me. She finally took my order but had to wait for another lady to get my food. Her attitude was awful. A hidden little gem. always a nice welcome and service with a smile. i normally have sausage and chips which are delicious but last night i tried their cod, chips and curry sauce. everything was piping hot (so much so, i burnt my mouth but thats my fault) very generous portion of chips, all lovely golden colour, the fish was lovely and covered in the tasty curry sauce, i ate the lot.
Awful dry bland chips … can’t believe how anyone could turn out such dreadful food

Long established chippy. Freshly prepared tasty food. Can get busy in the early evenings and need to wait a few minutes while your order is cooked and prepared. Car parking.
Been using this Fish and Chip shop for over 20 years and not ever had a bad meal. Can pre-order online making it incredibly easy to use as it can get very busy at peak times like a Friday evening. I fully recommend them.
