What rightfoodie doesn't like about The Clock Warehouse:
need more staff and some vegetarian options other than salad in winter. I would expect this is easily possible to remedy and i will go back again as i like the venue View all feedback.
My partner and I decided to go out for Sunday lunch since we don't get to spend weekends together often due to work commitments. We have dined at The Clock for evening meals before and it has always been great. However, our experience today was disappointing. The service was exceptionally slow and there were items missing from our meals. As former pub workers, we understand that Sunday lunch can be a busy time, but both of our roasts were served without horseradish sauce. We were seated in the conservatory area and it seemed there was a lack of waiting staff around to assist. It took 15 minutes for our order of a coke to arrive and we had to ask a second waitress for it. We noticed that a nearby table had their milk forgotten with their tea and another table had a missing beer. The tables around us were not being cleared promptly, and as a result, we decided not to order dessert as we had a restless 6-year-old with us. The Clock is usually a lovely place to visit, but it might be beneficial for the staff to check the conservatory area more regularly to ensure that customers, like us and the tables around us, are not forgotten.
My family ate at the clock warehouse Saturday we rang prior to booking, we checked on arrival and discussed with waitress the importance of my 5 year old grandson being coeliac within 20 mins of eating chips he was violently sick and continued to be so until Monday morning meaning he is off school and my daughter not able to go to work. The manger listened to my concerns about the cross contamination of oil in his allergy frier and agreed that this could have happened I appreciate his honesty but I have great concerns that the full impact of this error could have dire circumstances. Please don't promise gluten free and allergy awareness that you obviously are not. Disappointed and angry don't really convey my feelings I have been offered £30, in what way does this make amends for the mistake. I want an apology not a gift voucher.why would I go back to risk it happening again
Service and food excellent. Staff were very attentive, obliging and helpful. Thank you for making our celebration special.
The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic. It is our go-to spot and we dine here often. The food is consistently outstanding and the staff is always willing to go above and beyond. They offer a great variety of drinks and can cater to all preferences. I highly recommend this place for a family meal or a fun night out with friends. The staff is always welcoming and friendly.
Quirky styled old mill, beautiful atmospheric vibes. Helpful friendly staff. Extensive menu choices. Dog friendly. Can imagine this place to popular in the summer with canal side beer garden.
