This was once a superb little café, but I'm afraid someone has taken their eye off the ball. Table was not clean, scone was fair, cutlery needed wiping and the staff were having a bad day. View all feedback.
Oh wow! Visited Kitridding Farm Shop as a result of our staying in a property near Kirkby Lonsdale and wanting to taste some of the locally reared lamb. Purchased a rack of locally reared lamb. I can honestly say, as a retired chef, that this was some of the finest lamb that I have ever tasted! Absolutely outstanding flavour texture. We also purchased a couple of lamb mint pies pork steaks that were equally enjoyable. Want great flavoured food? Kitridding is well worth finding.
Great farmhouse kitchen. Friendly welcome and lovely wholesome food. Breakfasts are wonderful. Traditional Sunday lunches are a real treat.
Had the Yorkshire Pudding filled with Kitridding pork sausage, mashed potato and lovely gravy, served with peas. Made a great change.
Visited on Easter Sunday .. what a charming little shop in the most beautiful setting. Only had coffee and cake but it was lovely and served by very sweet lovely staff. We took away one of the lovely handmade dice pencil holders and the best tea loaf I’ve ever tasted, loaded with fruit just perfect !! These little special places need every bit of support post covid this place is definitely one to go for a lovely coffee or meal in the beautiful English countryside.
First visited farm shop in restriction period when the menu was limited but excellent. standards have definitely not dropped and the home delivery service is fantastic, including their own wonderful meat great quality
