Docks Seafood - South Portland

Fantastic! After a long day of travel we were thrilled to try a local place after visiting the lighthouse for sunset. Docks didn't disappoint! We shared the Haddock and Hummer Mac and Cheese. The Schellfisch was slightly baked and perfectly cooked. The homemade tartaric acid sauce is delicious! We both loved the Mac and the cheese; Hummer is caught this day and the sauce had a very cheesy nutty taste. Not over!

This is the place where I fell in love with lobster. My first taste of her lobster was unforgettable. It was so fresh that it felt like butter and melted in my mouth. It was the best culinary experience I have for lobster. I'd like to come back if distance wasn't the problem. I definitely recommend tasting this restaurant when you are in South Portland.

Fisherman?s platter got a light crispy bread together with refreshing Coleslaw not heavily covered with just mayonnaise. Seafood Alfredo tasted more like seafood Mac cheese, but every bite was fresh and well cooked. I was initially hesitant to try deep fried seafood and pasta dish, as they tend to be difficult to season and thick bread, but I was wrong. Very satisfied and loved the outdoor dining experience. Friendly staff and good service were definitely a big plus!

The food was delicious. Love her lobster quesadilla. Friendly staff and good service. The food was a little expensive than expected. Seafood Chowder was too salty. Her Clam Chowder was not so salty.

Fried Clam Dinner: it was a special for $21. It was delicious. I was craving a salad no fries for me this day) and it was fresh! The clams were fresh DELICIOUS! Coleslaw is homemade and good. It is served on a tray and I liked that. I will be back.
