a great menu, friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere, this place has everything, although sometimes it can do quite a lot, and I think that they might get into additional workers for these times. anyway, it's never excessively loud, and they can keep a talk about a table without screaming. the prices are reasonable, and the quality of service, as well as the food and beverages reflect well. What User doesn't like about The Mews:
With no prompting sans requesting Dorian Electra, one of the bartenders went on a rant about the arrogance and stupidity of non-binary people. He did not know that I am non-binary. If you are trans, this is not a safe space and I would not recommend going. Also, myself and my friend were the only ones there at midnight in a Friday/Saturday. Not recommended. View all feedback.
A really nice place to eat, that is different from most of the surrounding farms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area.
Staff were brilliant, they have adapted the menu for us, were always at the end of a phone to help. The whole food came out hot at the same time (it was 16 of us). Nothing was too much trouble brilliant food service
I say I can't recommend this place enough, we had drinks and dinner. The food is absolutely amazing; it is at home with a modern turn, the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive and always there to offer suggestions and guidance. The venue itself is beautifully decorated and conveys a welcoming and cheerful feeling. If ever in Southend on Lake a certain one has to visit 5 stars all the way.
We had already eaten. For 1 drink, but stayed hours. Had such a good laugh with employees and customers. One of the best pubs you should visit. Querky and wonderful. Can wait to go back. Was one of the best highlights of Southend on the sea.
