Wonderful salads, soups and sandwiches served at lunch time only. Unusual menu catering to all kinds of eaters. Get there before 12 because it’s s very popular lunch spot. View all feedback.
What Donna Redmon doesn't like about Sweet Basil:
The restaurant has undergone some changes, but unfortunately not for the better. There is no table service - patrons must grab a menu upon entering, seat themselves, and then go to the register to place their order. After a 45-minute wait, the food arrived in disposable containers with plastic utensils. The tuna pasta salad was disappointing, lacking tuna but drowning in mayonnaise. My favorite lunch spot for sureGood food, good prices, awesome atmosphere, and friendly people.
Popped into Manhattan Cafe for a quick bite to eat and some coffee on a Saturday morning It wasn't very busy which made for a pleasant experience.
My husband + I are in town for our anniversary and we love walking around finding new places.
Great food, terrible hours. If you work 9to5 you'll never know how good the food is. Shame.
I ate at this establishment in the past and enjoyed every moment of it down to the food. I don’t usually leave reviews but it took everything in me to not walk in and say something. A friend of mine and I went on an adventure today with our kids. We decided to stop in and grab lunch but having 9 people total is kind of obnoxious and of course there would be some kind of wait which is understandable for someone who has worked in food service for 15+ years. Not to mention the other adult is a manager at a local bar. I left my number and name for an expected 15/20 minute wait. An hour later and after we found food for the kids at an awesome bbq joint down the street they finally touched base. I get it, we were looking quite raggedy beings it was our day off out of the many few we actually get but we definitely felt judged. I am glad our money went elsewhere. Don’t forget Jesus would tip 110%.
