I am giving this review because I miss the friendly faces at this restaurant. The food is great and the portions are generous. The dishes are fresh, hot, and delicious. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. It is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever visited. The dishes are old and dirty, and they do not even have spoons. The serving utensils are ancient. During dinner hours, when the restaurant was only half full, there was only one waitress struggling to keep up. It is not her fault, as she is all alone. We've been ordering from hunan west for six years. we have a family of 4 and I am vegetarian. I have always appreciated the great selection of vegetarian dresses in this restaurant. this last job was probably our last one. for the second time I found flesh in my vegetarian tofu court. one time could be an accident, two times, and I think they need to have a general quality control problem. we move to another restaurant that has better understanding for what is vegetarian.
Ordered pan fried combination noodles which are supposed to be crispy and they were very spongy. Awful dinner. We called and they told us to go back to Duke Wo because we said we have had them there. Will NOT go back there!

I went in here today (Dec 23 2021) to order some carry-out. Gross!! The boss lady was on the phone facing away from me but facing all the plates and cups. She started coughing all over the plates for a full 3 minutes. I walked out and she was still spaying spit all over the bar and dishes.Beware .... Stay away....Didn't even mention she never even acknowledged me.
Food was really good! I had the Mongolian beef which I love and it was good! My friend enjoyed her food as well as my mother who wanted the same dish as my friend.
