What User likes about The Cricketers Of Redbourn:
I pop in here about once a month for an early evening pint and, often, a bite to eat. Service is super and food never disappoints. Love the burger especially. Dog friendly in front bar and outside, where the seating is comfortable and plentiful. Good range of beers View all feedback.

What johntrickett doesn't like about The Cricketers Of Redbourn:
Lovely location but oh my goodness what a disappointment. Expensive to say the least and my bar snack was rubbish . Better sandwich from the co op. Estrella £6.40 a pint BLT on thin very thin) white bread but it was toasted so presumably stale white bread bought from the local shop. Just ordinary thin sliced bread with a small leaf salad and nachos not crisps. Very poor and at £7.95 I could have got a better sandwich... View all feedback.

"Hidden Gem!!! The Flavour was unbelievable, I literally haven’t tasted food quite like it before. Abigail gave us brilliant suggestions to try from the menu and her customer service was second to none. It was also nice to speak to the owner who took his time to talk to us and share experiences we have had in common. I will definitely be eating here again!!"

"Second visit to Little Maracech and didn't disappoint. Fantastic atmosphere, service and food. I had Trio Grill Mezze an absolute meat feast. My partner had Sultan Kadra a lamb dish where the meat literally fell off the bone. If you're not a meat eater then there are plenty of vegetarian meals. If you haven't been yet you need to go!"

"We had a well-deserved coffee and cake at Willow Trees Café after a lovely cross county walk. Refreshments were excellent and it was nice sitting outside by the river Lea (there was even a swan on the river with several young cygnets). There is not much parking at (or near) the Café so most people walk from Wheathampstead (along the Lea Valley Walk) or walk cycle from Harpenden along the old railway line (which is also part of the Lea Valley Walk). The café does have a set of cycle racks. It should be noted that the café is only at weekends and bank holiday Monday’s between May Bank Holiday weekend and August Bank Holiday Monday. Contactless payment is now accepted and additional outside seating has recently been added."

"Excellent Italian deli. Superb food huge variety. Shame the lost the “eat-in” bit but still worth every visit! Adding an updated menu as we couldn’t find one online."
