I've visited this restaurant three times and the food has consistently been hot, fresh, and delicious. I really appreciate the convenience of ordering from an iPad, which makes the whole experience very organized. The sushi is fantastic, but what really stands out to us is the variety of vegetarian options available. Be sure to make a reservation on weekends, as it tends to get quite crowded! What User dislikes about East Sushi:
The sushi rolls were all tasty, nothing amazing or out of the ordinary - certainly nothing to be wowed by. Food tasted fresh and came out fairly promptly but the restaurant seems to have an identity crisis... random servers occasionally walk around with different items on a spit and ask if you'd like a piece of this or that. This is the best Japanese restaurant in the area! The atmosphere is comfortable and the place is spotless. The food is both delicious and fresh. If you're looking for a great dining experience, be sure to check out East Yzakaya in St. Catharines. The service is exceptional; the staff genuinely cares about making your visit enjoyable. Afra was particularly kind and friendly. My wife and I will definitely be returning to this fantastic restaurant!
We had an incredible experience at this restaurant! Although we arrived without a reservation, the four of us were seated immediately. The food was fantastic, and our server, Anya, was delightful and very attentive. She truly enhanced our experience! Every time we visit, we have a wonderful time, and we highly recommend this place!
The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and welcoming! The food is simply outstanding—truly worth every penny—and I highly recommend it to all sushi lovers. Anya and Tran provided excellent service, enhancing my dining experience significantly. I will definitely be returning soon for more of the amazing dishes they offer!
Came here because reviews were fantastic online.There was a 30 minute wait. We arrived and put our name on the list. Recommend planning ahead and making reservations if you’re able.The wait was WORTH IT. So is the price.The best sushi I’ve had in a LONG time.The service was fantastic and friendly. They even use a robot to help serve the tables !They had so many options to choose from.The rice to sushi ratio wasn’t too overpowering which is amazing considering most sushi all you can eat places try to skimp that way.We ate well over the prices worth of sushi.I highly recommend the deep fried milk!Recommended HIGHLY.Also the decor is chic, modern and so nice.
We came here for lunch. This is a decent place with good food and excellent services. I wish they could use less sauce on their dishes as the sauce was too salty and overpowered the food natural flavours. Our favourites included potato salad, roll with scallop, sour spicy cucumber.I would recommend this restaurant.Parking: There is a parking lot attached to the Library nearby
