Contribute FeedbackA charming restaurant in a beautiful beach location, known for its consistent, delicious food and excellent service. Some reviewers noted issues with pricing, early kitchen closure, and unexpected service charges. However, the attentive staff, delicious food offerings, and beautiful views make it a memorable dining experience. Perfect for families, friends, and beach lovers, with BBQs available on the beach in peak seasons. From excellent seafood dishes to flavorful desserts, this restaurant offers a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall, a lovely spot for a relaxing seaside meal.
I had a great experience at this charming restaurant with a beautiful view of the beach. I went for dinner and enjoyed delicious fish and chips. Despite my server being busy with a large group of regulars celebrating, I was never neglected. For dessert, I had a flourless chocolate torte topped with the most amazing clotted cream I've ever tasted. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a takeout window facing the beach. The dining rooms with large windows are the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, although there is also plenty of outdoor seating available.
Excellent food and service combined with a great view make for a five stars review. I had Thai fish curry which was delicious and beautifully presented. My wife chose traditional fish and chips it was cooked to perfection. Tip: book a table inside for the best views.
Great location overlooking the golden sand of the small beach and the green headlands. Sheltered sunny outdoor area. Just had tea and yummy moist polenta cake, but the menu looked fresh and interesting. Lots of seafood. Would be a gorgeous to have dinner and wine at sunset
This is now sister to the excellent Porthminster Cafe. It's in an excellent spot, in a little cove overlooking the lighthouse at Godrevy. A recent lunch of whole sea bass for her, and crab, mussels and chilli linguine for me, was perfect seaside gastronomy. Both mains were £12.95. They also do an excellent Polgoon rose (a local champagne-style wine made from apple and strawberry). We've eaten here several times, and never been disappointed. Service is friendly.
The restaurant offers a stunning view and delicious food to match. The crab salad with seared scallops was outstanding, especially when paired with a refreshing rose Rioja. The prices are fair for the high quality of the food and service. While the window seat is the best for the view, all tables offer a good sight.
