I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's a shame that they only offer carry-out now. My favorite dish is the house special stir fry. It's filled with delicious seafood and fish that are fried to perfection. For dessert, I always have the red bean paste sesame balls - they are the best I've ever had! What Christina Z doesn't like about Wei Hong Bakery:
Service was quick although they don't have any inside seating. We got a take out order then ate on their patio. The cashew chicken was light but lacked a lot of flavor. While we didn't order any, they had some good looking pastries inside. View all feedback.

It's filled with delicious seafood and fish that are fried to perfection. For dessert, I always have the red bean paste sesame balls - they are the best I've ever had! Before the pandemic, I would meet up with friends and we would order a variety of dishes such as Chicken Lo Mein with extra veggies, Vegetable Fried Rice, and Stir Fried Eggplant. You can't go wrong with any of these options! I also tried the Fried Potstickers and couldn't believe I hadn't had them before. They were amazing!
Having grown up in an area where Asian cuisine is abundant, it has been challenging to find quality Chinese bakeries and food in STL. However, this place truly impressed me. I visited near closing time and discovered that it was only offering takeout (although I was unsure how long this had been the case). I ordered roasted pork, BBQ pork, a ham and scallion bun, and BBQ pork buns. The roasted pork, sold by the pound, was tender and juicy with perfectly crispy skin and rendered fat. The BBQ pork had a nice tenderness and a hint of natural sweetness. The BBQ pork bun had just the right amount of chewiness and tenderness in the bread. The ham and scallion bun was especially delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. Overall, it was a positive experience and I will definitely return to try other pastries. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
I stopped by during a short visit to St. Louis and I must say, this is some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The Hunan chicken was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The crab Rangoon had a generous amount of filling compared to other places I've tried. Although the hot and sour soup wasn't my favorite, I left feeling satisfied. I would definitely give this restaurant a solid 11 out of 10 and would love to come back again!

We ordered delivery from this place, pretty solid Chinese food. Great vegetable fried rice and sesame tofu. The serving sizes are enormous, definitely shareable. We ordered multiple different things for a group of four people. Didn't get to see inside of the restaurant, but overall solid Chinese food. We will definitely try it again.
