This pub under new management from such a welcoming and friendly family. I have not have such a brilliant experience at a pub. Food was unbelievable- I ended up licking the plate (sorry but wow!!!! Cannot wait to come back. View all feedback.

it has been pointed out that they have no longer accepted bookings by an open table and they were completely booked in the restaurant. only table they were in the bar that was not too bad, but with a small child and someone blind in the group it was not great compared to the original booking. once sitting the menu was varied, but some descriptions were not correct, so took a bit of time to get the meals ordered as a... Good for drinks much cleaner and smarter since new very friendly renters arrived. roast dinner really need to be very good to book as it is busy. many parking spaces on site.
Sat for one from the cuff visit sat lunchtime with my mother. we had friendly reception and service great in anbetracht pretty busy. pub still looks super beautiful ambiente. we have only chosen sandwiches with frits, but the huhn and speck ciabatta and the king prawn with salat and tomaten were incredibly delicious. beautifully presented and the chips were also good. fab and will return again.
For late lunch today this place is amazing, eating is the best I had recommended from a pub, the staff is so friendly and helpful a lot of luck for them all they deserve.
So glad that the golden ball is opened again. under new management, family run, which are very welcoming. the inner became a little lightened up, and eating on our first visit was excellent!
Visit the golden ball after hearing it had new owners, which was a different! amazing eating and great service thanks to chelsey and the team we will be back
