Decided to sit outside, in covered heated area. My partner and I had starters of Tatzikki and Humus. Excellent very fresh; accompanied by warm Pitta Bread. Mains were Fish Pie, and Roasted Salmon with Cajun spices; both very good indeed, well cooked and well seasoned. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We were seated in a cozy corner by the fire, perfect for a chilly autumn day. The food was delicious and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Additionally, there was a great selection of beers to choose from.
We love the lazy trout always good service and amazing food . Was my brothers first time and he will be back also as he loved it . We had roast beef at 5:30 and was still perfectly pink that’s an achievement of a top chef
Lovely cosy and friendly pub. Two excellent beef roasts and a drink. All reasonably priced. Very nice. Parking is a slight challenge but nothing we couldn't cope with.
Visited with friends and our dogs. Lovely food and excellent service. Very dog friendly too. Only problem was parking, but we managed to find a space a few minutes walk away. WIll definitely be returning.
A great family lunch for my mothers birthday. Absolutely brilliant meals, good choices, service excellent could not fault it. Will certainly be back
