Pecking Order Stanmore

The service was incredibly slow, despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty. However, the food was delicious as usual.

I had a great dining experience at Pecking Order. The service was super friendly and the food was delicious. The mac and cheese truffle bites were hot, crispy, and tasty, and the Naked BLT with tender, moist chicken, crispy bacon, and a soft poached egg was excellent. The sweet potato fries served as a side were also very delicious. I also ordered a Rotisserie chicken for my friend's son to take away, and it was cooked to order with a generous portion size. Overall, a great meal with generous portions.

The buttermilk fried chicken and onion rings at this restaurant are excellent! They far surpass the offerings at the nearby chain chicken restaurant.

Delicious food. Nice place but felt a bit like a canteen and although restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, some tables had not been cleaned. Cocktails were delicious, but weak. Excellent service friendly staff.

3 of us went for a catch up and really enjoyed the food. The chicken burgers (chargrilled and southern fried) were really tasty with sweet potato fries and side salads. The quarter/half chicken with sides is a good option for healthy eating or those with dietary restrictions. The coca-cola chicken wing starters were an unusual idea but worked well and are dangerously moreish, as are the milkshakes. The decor is modern and fun, service was exceptional but it would have been better if busier. It's nice to find good places that don't require travelling into Central London and we will definitely come again.
