What User doesn't like about Seasons Of Japan:
The dining experience was great, with very polite staff, but the portions were a bit small for me. I have a big appetite and felt that for the price, it wasn't enough. The restaurant was busy and in a good location, but I believe they should offer more value for what they charge. It seemed they missed the mark on this aspect. I wish there was some shade to help with the bright afternoon sun shining in. It can be a bit blinding at times. Other than that, it's a great place.
I worked at this restaurant for 3 and a half weeks and have not been paid the correct amount. The manager at the Statesboro location threatened to cut my hours because I didn't listen to him. I experienced bashing and racism, as well as job intimidation and threats from the owner's son over a parking issue. The food is great, serving over 500 people a day, but the management and family members working there blur professional lines. I witnessed a meeting with the franchise owner or Sal's boss trying to resolve issues, but they got nowhere. They showed no regard for employment laws or my rights as an American. I found a better job and will not be returning to eat here again.
My wife has a gluten intolerance and we had trouble getting information about which menu items contained gluten. I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp with a side of chicken. The portions were small and the food was disappointing. The staff seemed unaware of food allergens.
A friend and I stopped in Seasons of Japan today for the first time to grab some Japanese food to go. We were helped by a kind cashier, whose first day was today. Before I even left the cashier my food was ready. The kind interactions at the counter made us want to stay awhile and eat inside. There needs to be more service like this in the world!! The food was 10/10, our cashier/service was amazing, and the dining area was cleanly. Thanks for a great lunch!
Seasons of Japan always has amazing food,I never eat in there so I can’t say much for their interior, feels like one of the first locations and kind of outdated, other than that good
