Restaurang Bergamott - Stockholm

This was a new experience – and a good one. Recommended by my brother in law, we went there for dinner – and I just love these restaurants with the menu written in chalk on a billboard. You are being served what they found fresh today. Good service (the waiter was really good – with that French accent), excellent food and a more than decent wine list. Some of the things on the menu were exciting, there were things you doesn’t see too often.

When the head of the restaurant welcomes you (in French! and show you your table, you get the feeling this will be a nice evening. And it was. Although the restaurant was full, we got the best attention all the time. But even though service is very important, at the end it's the food that counts. I can tell, all four of us were very satisfied with the starters, main courses, desserts and not the least the wines (guided by the restaurant . If you like French food and atmosphere go there.

My favorite restaurant in Stockholm has excellent food and great service!

The restaurant is warm and cozy inside, with a menu that combines Swedish and French cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is friendly. However, the wait time for our starter and main course was quite long, so we didn't have dessert. Despite this, we have visited twice and would definitely come back if we were in Stockholm again.

This place is nicely small and packed full. It has some tasty french choices, I has a norsk cot which was really tasty and some snaila as an appetizer. All pretty good. Prices little steep but I quess thats what you get in this part of town.
