The Bay Fish - STRAHAN

The daily fresh catch is always delicious at this restaurant. It is a lovely place to sit and enjoy your meal.

I can see why this place is so popular, with its delicious seafood and reasonable prices. I ordered the cooked full Crayfish with grilled flake and chips, and I must say, the crayfish was incredibly fresh and flavorful- one of the best I've ever had. The grilled flake was also delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in Strahan.

Amazing food. Really great service, and though there was a bit of a wait, that doesn’t matter because just outside of it is a 2 shipwrecks that are a blast to explore and have fun on. A great little beach area as well, and the after that FUN wait, the food is absolutely worth it. I will eat there as much as I can.

Dropped in for fish and chips on Wednesday evening. We got one piece of trout a serve of chips and a Greek salad for $31. Having never tried trout at all I was excited to experience the taste. I found it tasted like salmon and was absolutely delicious. The only reason I’m giving this a four rating not five rating is because the trout was $17 for a piece that was smaller than a female palm of hand as a Queenslander I think that’s expensive. Overall it was a really lovely place to get a takeaway from and the service was very friendly.
