Rio's - Strasbourg

We came here for lunch and were surprised to find that almost all of the dishes were served at the lunch special rate. The food was typically Brazilian and and tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. Excellent value for money and makes a nice change from local cuisine.

Delicious food - the Onglet de veau is simply melt-in-your-mouth magical!. Service is super friendly; At lunch-time you can choose any dish on the à la Carte menu for a "plat du jour" rate of 8€50, which is an incredibly good deal ! I am definitely adding the Rios to my list of places to share good food and good atmosphere with both friends and family.

Some of my friends who live in Strasbourg told me we should not go there, but we insisted in going. A waste of time and money!!To begin with, 2 of us got sick after eating there. A shame! I started to feel bad after eating the appetisers.The service is good, but the food is bad when compared to Brazilian food. It is easy to see that it is a version of a Brazilian restaurant when no one who works there is Brazilian! They must have learned the recipes down there and now use it here. I definitely don't recommend this place if you want to eat Brazilian food. We were frustrated after going there.It is OK for a meal, but not Brazilian!

Well, as I said, it is definitely disappointing if you are Brazilian. We were here to eat a Feijoada, typical Brazilian dish (it seemed to be a great opportunity for someone living in Europe and far from Brazil since a while), however it did not taste at all. Even the picanha is anything but picanha. In the end it was not that bad, but what you receive is basically not what you are waiting for if you already know typical Brazilian food. The service is awesome and the drinks also.

This is a Brazilian restaurant in Strasbourg. I am not Brazilian so i cannot comment on how authentic the food it. All I can say is that the food is excellent, especially for its price. The wine is good and the service is very frindly. Really you canont expect more, good food, at a reasonalble price and service with a style. The set menus at lunch time are of particularly good value and today the service provided by the stagiare was partcularly efficinet and friendly.
