outstanding cuisine, rich wine map, cool bar, summer garden to fall in love, very friendly and nice service, very well maintained restaurant. My secret tip for Stuttgart who likes it Italian. I like to go here, even if it's not always billg, but it's very good. The performance here has its legitimate price. View all feedback.
What Heinz-Joachim Lauer doesn't like about Da Capo Gastronomiebetriebe Italienisches:
Service Location Top! The food totally overpriced For a Mista Salat to demand 9,50 EUR and for a plate of noodles that are warmed up 11,50 EUR is not contemporary. Well, not again! View all feedback.
Where can you really sit in Stuttgart and I mean: really nice) outside? So many restaurants don't exist, so after a random Sunday afternoon, we went to Da Capo in one of the more noble corners in the Stuttgart East despite more than mixed reviews. The restaurant is located on the grounds of the former Lazarett, in a park with high trees, beautiful brick buildings and definitely no car noise. The terrace to the park where we had reserved is covered by white screens, illuminated by ball street lights, covered with white fabric and comfortably equipped with weatherproof basket mesh. We were quite early and could decide between different tables, we sat at the one with the most green look. As a result, the squirrel panorama and the Amsel Floorshow unfolded. A friendly waiter comes fixed and asks for aperitive requests, we order Hugo and Aperol Sprizz, with a water. Almost as fast as the card comes, just after that the drinks. The offer consists of various Pfifferlings Specials, a quite extensive selection of antipasti, soups, salads, pasta, fish and meat, on request also the wine card is brought. There are also some daily recommendations and thankfully more open wines than on the map. We order tuna carpaccio € 15,50) and Vitello Tonnato € 13,50), then we ask you to share a portion of fatucine with mushrooms. As secondo then the Grigliata di Pesce € 26,50) and the lamb chops € 23,50), with open Roero Arneis outside the card, open there are only Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay, but not by the producers of bottle wines listed on the wine card) and a Barbera. The wine map is quite interesting and offers good quality, but why there is a Chardonnay of Jermann and openly not, is a mystery to me. Even if I order an open wine, I don't want a sprout, and for Allerwelt's Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio I can also go to the next pizzeria. The friendly waiter brings two plates, pours olive oil and balm vinegar from the bottles standing on each table, and brings the bread. The latter is not bad, but punished with an excessive proportion of hard crust, here is still air up. We look around a little bit, the audience looks rather better-deserving, even the casual clothing has cost, the kids wear brands and smartphones, the ladies mostly look expensively thin, the men's solvent clinks, what we listen to conversations, oscillates between amusing and annoying. Maybe I should just try out how the evening will be when I talk about whether or not any acquaintances earn in the six-digit range. But if my husband wants to imitate the voice and intonation of the permanent plumber next door, he can eat without me. At the Aperitivi not far to go, the appetizer is already meant nicely, but even starved I don't like an Aperol Sprizz to the Carpaccio, and my husband went with the Kombi Hugo meets Vitello Tonnato. But no problem, there was nothing cold, so we drank in peace and then ate very well with carefully delivered wines. The Carpaccio cut thin and very fresh, the Vitello Tonnato also thin, the tuna sauce very gentle, but good, decorated with cape fruits and an unmotivated anchovy. After a short break, the noodles came, excellent fresh fatucine in pleasantly little white wine butter with neat stone fungus bread, which were well tasted, but from the presentation were more oriented to optics smaller cut they would have made less but tasted better. But no question, really good. Yes and then, nothing happened long. Except the squirrels. And the amsules that made an evening-filling program. The main courses came a beaten hour after the noodles, why was not recognizable. We didn't suffer, we sat nice, but it wasn't comprehensible, nor had we asked for a long break. We used the time to relax and look at the interior, which is really worth seeing and incredibly beautiful everything is white-covered, high chairs with white coughs, walls and arches in warm yellow and white, some niches red-padded, beautiful arc-shaped windows on the park. When you come in, you will receive an imposing and very attractive bar, everything conveys serenity and tranquility. Very nice. At some point when the second wine glasses had marked signs of use, the Secondi came. My noble fish from the grill were four pieces of fish, tuna, salmon, mullet, and a giant clove on a small saucer...
We were at Da Capo about three weeks ago to go to two cozy romantic dinners. Because of the beautiful terrace we had even thought about celebrating our wedding in Da Capo. Food: We each had a asparagus soup, which was too watery and salty for our taste, as the main course a beef steak and simple pasta. Both were okay, didn't knock us off the stool tastefully. With two glasses of wine we have left a total of 96 € plus tip. The price-performance ratio, as already mentioned several times, is not all right. Ambiance mood: The terrace is quiet, overlooking the old trees. The mood was very entertaining by the other guests. In the neighboring table we were able to observe a man with his children and small dogs, who had loudly announced to the boss of Da Capo to buy the shop. Other, more spicy, guests complained to the waiter about the dogs, probably because the daughter has picked up new water for the dog five times in a lousy container (which was already running through the holes at the bottom), whereupon the owner looked wild and asked who would probably have something against his dogs. Overall so very entertaining, much to observe, but not as idyllic as we imagined. For the wedding party, the food would be too bad for us to say and the price (from 140 € per person plus an extra charge from 1 am) too high. More recommended to go to drink an aperol spray and to see and be seen.
When I came out of that capo, it rained. Then my wife said: This too.(Kerr . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 120 guests I was happy not to have been the freshly baked husband, and not to have to pay the (probably salted bill, because that was the only thing that was salted. Now, you can salt, but the muffy waiters brought something only after the end of the meal, i.e. shortly before the sweets, so that you could have given the otherwise thread of food (salts, truffle paste, fillet steak or fish plate, dessert variation something seasoning, which was also understandable, because the service anyway will not have been prepared with the nap , the fish didn't want my wife to cost me(You don't want to know. . The supplements are sweet and imaginative, and the wines? Red or white, more you can't say, at least they didn't overtone the food in expressiveness, especially since you didn't get any more gifted after the first glass, then on demand 1 bottle of wine white or red banged on the table for 20 guests each. That had the advantage that we were still able to drive. So, dear friends, you get married if you want or need to, but do better not do it there.
We were at the weekend for a high-time celebration in the da capo. parking was possible almost before the house, as at the weekend little goes into the offices of the surroundings. already the ambiente in the park of a former hospital in the bustling stuttgarter east is characterized by flair and cozyness. almost like in a castle garden they sit here on the large terrace seemingly far away from the trubel of the big city. eating a four course menu was one of the best I have eaten lately. Italian starter plate, then self-made nutty sacks in sage buttersoße, and as the main course perfect bark fillet in balsamico. the heart wasn't my ding, but that's a taste. also the desert plate with various sweets was very delicious. the waiters were all accommodating and attentive. the service does not leave to wish tonight. they noticed that the capo is practiced in the direction of the high times. how to serve in max. 10 minutes 70 equally well prepared bark fillets!? I can't say anything about the prizes. but the visit of the restaurant is worth it. as a location for a high time it is something special especially with beautiful weather!
