La Bamba Sazon Latino - Swannanoa

Not sure what has happened here. Ordered take out for our office lunch and food quality was really poor! Several of us had to throw ours away as it seemed spoiled. Did not used to be like this! This used to be one of our favorite lunch order spots.

Went here on my lunchbreak with a friend. Everyone in the place seemed inconvenienced to have to even seat us, much less wait on us! Took so long to get our meal (that was cold when we got it) we ended up having to get it to go.

So disappointed!! My niece got 2 beef tacos and the tacos were floating in orange grease… my taco and enchilada was floating in grease as well… but the worst part was the ground beef. Tasted and looked old and rancid!! We are fearful that we will get sick now from taking one bite. Had to send food back. Waitress was nice… food was horrible

I had to pick up materials in the industrial park nearby googled top rated restaurants by distance. This restaurant was at the top of the list. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa a Columbian dish. First off, it was an immense amount of food!! I didn't even realize there was white rice in the container until the second time I ate it. The chorizo was by far the best I've ever eaten!! Texture was great flavor was fantastic a mix of traditional some spices new to me in chorizo. The half avocado was fresh green. The carne asada was terrific both tasty tender. The chicharrones were excellent crunchy when dunked in their jalapeno salsa, phenomenal! The fried plantains were cooked perfectly there were quite a few. The little roasted chili peppers lit me right up yum! The fried egg was crispy around the edges cooked through I kinda wish the yolk was runny. I was pleased with the arepa also the addition of their mild salsa made it that much better. I'm already planning another trip from Bristol bringing some friends! This restaurant is amazing!!!

I had a wonderful experience and the staff was lovely. The food was amazing. We did have to leave in a hurry and they were very polite and friendly. We got aroz con pollo and special Mexican taco special plate. Was going to put 5 stars but after leaving I revised they over charged me. I paid 30.02 and I got the special meal with sweet tea, and me aroz con pollo with a water. I'll be back in after getting my tire fixed.
