Eddie Rockets - Swansea

While unassuming from the outside, once inside this restaurant feels like a trip back to 1960's America! The portions, especially the sweet potato fries, are generous and delicious. The decor is well-done and the menu offers classic American dishes like cheeseburgers, fries, milkshakes, and ice cream. Each table even has a cute jukebox, though they may not be functional. Perfect for groups with its large booths and student discount available.

I was initially drawn to the concept of this restaurant, but my overall experience did not live up to my expectations. While I enjoyed a fantastic burger during my first visit, the second one was disappointing with overcooked and greasy chips and onion rings. The excessive amount of grease was off-putting. I may give it another chance, but I found the burgers at the nearby No Sign Wine Bar to be much better, along with their hand-cut chips, all for a similar price. The quality of the food at this restaurant seems inconsistent.
