Contribute FeedbackFratellos, an Italian restaurant in Swindon, showcases the charm of authentic Italian cuisine, with many guests praising its wood-fired pizzas and perfectly cooked pasta. However, not all experiences are joyful. Complaints of poor service, dismissive staff, and an unwelcoming atmosphere taint the enjoyment for some diners. Discrepancies in food quality, such as gluten-free options and pricing, further contribute to disappointment. Despite its potential, guests echo a plea for improved service and consistent food quality, making Fratellos a place of both delightful flavors and frustrating experiences that may leave patrons ambivalent about a return visit.
My daughter and I are both gluten free and loved that Fratellos have so many GF options. My daughter LOVED her GF pasta and I LOVED my GF Tropicale pizza, plus a cheeky GF cheesy garlic bread to share…. Delicious
Was in town on business and the boss wanted to take me somewhere descent , and he made a great choice I opted for seafood pizza I generally go seafood pizza or pasta and it’s a good benchmark) and hands down it’s the best seafood pizza I ever had. Lots of Octopus , squid, mussels , prawns , anchovies added extra) and other wonderful delights on a super thin base of tomato with a hint of chilli….. unreal Service was nice , not rushed, drinks flowed nicely…. There are cheaper options around the doors but I’d imagine it’s a “gotta pay for quality” situation
This Italian gem impressed with its genuine flavors and cozy atmosphere. From the delightful Caprese salad to the rich Spaghetti Bolognese, each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The attentive staff and well-curated wine list elevated the experience, making this restaurant a standout choice for those seeking an authentic taste of Italy. Mangia bene!
I was really excited to try a gluten free pizza from an Italian takeaway but was terribly disappointed. The pizza had hardly any mozzarella cheese or the toppings which was ham and pineapple. The ham that was on there was whole pieces of ham just chucked on the top. The edge of the pizza was about 2inch's away from the edge and they were too hard to eat, even the dog struggled to eat them. Wouldn't recommend or go back there. Also although the trillion Aries tart was alright I think £6.95 for a tiny slice is a total rip off.
I recently dined at fratellos Italian restaurant, and the experience was delightful. The ambiance exuded a cozy, rustic charm, complemented by soft lighting. The menu offered a diverse selection of authentic Italian dishes. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauces were rich with flavor. The attentive service added to the overall positive impression. A noteworthy dining choice for those seeking a genuine taste of Italy.
